Bottlenose Dolphin

This is the typical dolphin most people think of, and is a familiar resident of most tropical and warm temperate shores worldwide. The original image is a black and white, pen and ink illustration on scratchboard, commisioned as part of a series for the book “Between Species” about the human-dolphin connection. Color was later added in Photoshop. There are three other images in this series: Beluga, Killer Whale, and Dall’s Porpoise.
